I'm thinking about adding a pet line to our personalized line of gifts. While these signs can't be personalized per say, they can be marketed as personalizing a space in your house. What do you think of this:

Those are cute, Kaboodle!

I have a Heinz 57 myself, so it's hard to find one that would work for our family! Bet you'd sell quite a few though!

The only thing I might worry about is this...
While lots of people are "breed" people, the trend lately has been to adopt from shelters... ever since Katrina, and now with the economy the way it is, more and more dogs are finding their way to shelters! The shelter I volunteer at is always full and moves dogs quickly. You can't always guarantee a specific breed with shelter dogs, and purebreds are a rare in that environment.

Make sense?

I have the information that is being mailed to me about the pet products. They are including their best sellers and also the top 64 breeds so that gives me a jump start. I have to figure out shipping and get the materials in here for that as I have a minimum order that i have to purchase. So there are things for me to consider before I move on this, but right now I'm thinking that it is doable. I'll have to check my information when I get it as to what breeds are available , at that point if it is doable, THEN I can tease a certain someone in the forums.

On an unrelated issue I just got the paperwork for these personalized fire pits as well, here is a sneak peek:

There are several different types that are available, along with screens and covers and each comes direct from the manufacturer, Made in the USA.....stay tuned!

I do have sources for beds and other items as well, what I don't have is a complete business plan for the pets line, so in the future yes I will expand to everything that I can, but for now I'll probally stay with what I have been talking about. With so much going on with the new stores coming I'm really going to be busy moving everything over and getting my house in order. I wish I could be more specific right now but that is the best that I can do at this point.

I'll get there but it may take a while for that to happen. What I will do is though is announce everything here first, including any press releases, blog posts and such

Okay,
Just wanted to post an up date on the pet line. I have received one sample and I rejected it. While in general it was al right, the problem I had with it was that the art work label doesn't extend to the full width and length of the backer board. I was told that this creates a border around the art owrk. The thing with this is that it isn't a consistant measurement all around the artwork, making it look like that an employee did poor quality work. While they o look alright, alright isn't what I am looking for.

The good news is that I am getting more samples of sifferent items coming so I will be able to evaluate those. As sooon as I can I will post what is coming.

Let me go dig up ome phot's of what is coming. I just wan't happy with the product, wasn't bad but from a buyers standpoint didn't think it would go, wifey said the same thing, she was dissapointed for me too. So we'll see....stay tuned......

I can see having the rough border around the "Wanted" signs because to me that looks like a bit western like the old wanted signs back in the frontier days, it just didn't look right on the first sample I got.

I hope these are better because I like em too!
