Sorry Hidden ---- I didn't see you ask this Q before. I have to go to town and run some errands real quick but I will be back to answer your Q about the stars in detail , ASAP!..
It basically has to do with how many posts you've made.
I will post the different levels when I return.

Okay here's the ranking on the star rating system:
6 red stars == Administrator
4 green stars ===  Moderator

Post based groups (gold stars):
1 === Newbie                  Posts required: 0
2 === Jr Member              Posts required: 50
3 === Full Member           Posts required: 100
4 === Sr Member             Posts required: 250
5 === Hero member        Posts required: 500
