Scanning Old Photos
« on: October 27, 2009, 03:51:27 PM »
WOW! I made a great discovery. Our son bought a box of old WWI photos, too tiny to enjoy looking at. I decided to see what scanning would do. YEE-HAH! They blow up to full PC screen size, with all the details of the originals. If you have a bunch of old snapshots that you almost need a magnifying glass to appreciate, you might try scanning them and see what you get. I don't have a photo-quality printer, but if you have that, too, my bet is that you could completely renovate the old family album for very few $$.
