Crochet -- Chain Stitch Loop Fringe

I'm rather pleased with myself this evening. I created a chain stitch loop fringe for the wrap I knitted for our daughter for Christmas. I couldn't find anything like it online, so I'm considering it an original design. I'm working up a how-to page for my website right now. 


I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! The colder it gets, the more my creative juices heat up. 



This is super-simple, btw. I quit doing hard stuff years ago. Now all my knit and crochet projects are EZ.

Hmm, maybe that's why I knit -- to cultivate patience. I've been knitting for almost 60 years, so that patience thing should start kicking in any minute. 

My next project is knitted juggling balls for our son for Christmas. I CAN'T WAIT!

knitting for 60 years?   WOW! Suz ----- you must've been knitting one, pearling two while you were still in the womb!!

I learned to knit and play chess when I was 5. My siblings were all raised and gone, so that gave me something to "play" with each parent. I also have a movie of me at that age, operating a band saw in my dad's shop. I still remember my mother squealing when she saw that movie, which gave me no end of wicked, childish pleasure.
